aro.jnlp not launching

Hi,

I am unable to install ARO on my Mac OS X Lion.

Downloaded aro.jnlp but I am unable to launch it.

I have checked Java versions and I have the latest versions.

I haven't been able to replicate this on either of 2 Macs I tested on. I know that doesn't help you, though. I'll forward this to the development team and hoprfully they will come up with some help.

The devs are wondering if there is a wirewall issue. Is your computer behind a firewall?

Yes..at the office we have our firewall but at home its disabled..thought there will still be a firewall from the internet service provider..

Okay, here are three more questions:

(1) I'm going to assume that you get the same message on the same maching at the office and at home, is that correct?

(2) Do you have all the required prerequisites?

The system requirements to run the AT&T ARO Data Analyzer on the Mac OS are:

• A computer running Mac OS X 10.6 and above. At least 1GB of RAM.
• The Java Runtime Environment (JRE™) version 1.6 or greater.

The system requirements to run the AT&T ARO Data Analyzer on the Windows OS are:

• A computer running Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows Seven. At least 1GB of RAM.
• The Java Runtime Environment (JRE™) version 1.6 or greater.
• WinPcap, the “industry-standard windows packet capture library”.

(3) Is your maching locked down with any corporate security settings?
