Article Review: How APIs should be: Drop in keys, running in 1 minute

If you've ever tried working with APIs, you know how hard it can be. In fact, I would say that most APIs are so hard that only seasoned developers can figure out how to get the API working within an hour or two. The funny part is that APIs were meant to simplify the interface. I'm not going to say much more here besides that this article is a must read!

The article goes into wonderful detail about the developer interest funnel as well as giving tips on how to make your API more accessable and discoverable to developers.

As for our very own AT&T APIs, Max Katz of Tiggzi.com recently created an awesome integration of our AT&T APIs where you can see our SMS API running in under 5 minutes. Simply go to http://www.tiggzi.com/, register for an account, create a new mobile app, create an account at http://developer.att.com/API and then copy your API keys over to the new Tiggzi mobile app and you can send an SMS to your AT&T phone.

APIs should be this effortless.
