We’re Live!
Last week marked the launch of a powerful new API on the AT&T API Platform.
We’re happy to introduce the Speech API, powered by the AT&T WATSON℠ speech engine.
AT&T has accumulated more than 600 patents on the WATSON technology and has developed a service that offers fast and accurate speech transcriptions for your app users.
Now, you can easily voice-enable apps (across any wireless carrier!) using one of our seven optimized speech contexts, including: Web Search, Business Search, Voicemail-to-text, SMS, Question and Answer, TV, and Generic (which automatically detects English and Spanish language and returns the appropriate text transcription). You send us speech, and we send you text—it’s that easy.
And in the next few weeks, we’ll make it even simpler to capture and send us audio for transcription with the release of our SDKs for native and HTML5 apps.
Have more questions? Check out the website for more information.
We hope you are as excited as we are, and will check out the Speech API and other APIs available on the platform.
Between now and August 15, 2012, use the APISPCH12promotional code to waive the $99 access fee to the AT&T API Platform.
