At the AT&T Developer Summit, Quyen Quach, Director of Consumer Apps and Games, and Larry Short, Lead Content Marketing Manager at AT&T Mobility gave their tips on getting your app noticed. 

AT&T’s privacy commitments are fundamental to the way we do business every day.  If you’re developing apps, you know how important it is to protect a customer’s data, from design to deployment.

Dean Churchill presented “Privacy Please: Security risks to data privacy,  how to reduce risk” at the recent AT&T Developer Summit.  In his presentation, he covered a few security incidents to learn from, some great examples of secure mobile app solutions, including myAT&T and mHealth, and some best practices for developing secure solutions.

AT&T U-verse is the fastest growing TV provider in the U.S.  With 3.6 million U-verse TV subscribers, 4.6 million U-verse High Speed Internet customers, and 2.1 million U-verse Voice connections, there’s lots of opportunity for developers.

Caroline Sinclair, AT&T U-verse Product Marketing, and Karim Varela, Android Support Lead, AT&T Developer Program presented U-verse Enabled Intro and Deep Dive at the AT&T Developer Summit.   Members of the AT&T Developer Program can access presentation slides on the AT&T Developer Program website.

If you’re building an Android app that uses wireless, you know how important optimizing network traffic, reducing battery drain, and lowering server loads are. 

The AT&T Application Resource Optimizer (ARO) is a free diagnostic tool for analyzing the performance of your mobile applications.

Doug Sillars, PhD, recently presented a session at the AT&T Developer Summit outlining how to use ARO.  His slides can be found on the AT&T Developer Program website. 

At the AT&T Developer Summit that wrapped up earlier this week, there were dozens of informative breakout sessions updating developers on the latest resources offered by AT&T and others.

Ed Lambert, Director, Developer Planning and Support AT&T Developer Program presented “More Than Just a Hammer, an AT&T Tools Overview.”  Ed reviewed several tools that are available for developers, including the newly-announced AT&T API Platform and ARO (Application Resource Optimizer).  His slides (along with others) can be accessed on the AT&T Developer Program site.
