Exciting news!  Registration is now open for the 2012 DevLab by AT&T.  DevLab is a one day hands-on programming workshop focused on helping developers build advanced communications into mobile applications, as well as optimize mobile apps to make the most of battery life and data bandwidth.  Attendees will be introduced to the new Speech API that is part of the AT&T API Platform, as well as the Application Resource Optimizer (ARO) which analyzes mobile application efficiency.

One of the best ways to learn about cutting edge technologies and win new devices is to join our webcasts. We’re really excited about the upcoming Augmented Reality and You webcast as well as our Speech 101 webcast coming toward the end of June. These webcasts are hosted by industry professionals and provide in-depth information you likely won’t find anywhere else. As always, these events are completely free to AT&T Developer Program members; all you need to do is register.

We’re incredibly excited to announce that we have nearly a dozen events and contests scheduled for the next two months! Everything from epic hackathons with over $20K in prizes to webcasts where we’ll walk you through using our new Speech API. We’ll also be attending several conferences including CTIA and Uplinq.

If you haven’t yet been to one of our hackathons, we really encourage you to check one out. They’re a great way to meet new people and learn about the latest cutting edge tools. Winning cash and prizes isn’t bad either!

With 700+ registered attendees, 40+ exhibitors and 60+ speakers, Cloud Fair finished its first conference with success. One lesson that I learned was how to effectively market Cloud services.
