Last week's Developer Summit was a huge success! We had over 2,000 developers, mobility executives, and business development folks at our keynote and track sessions on Monday making it our largest Developer Summit yet. SpeechTEK 2012, the largest conference in North America for the speech technology industry, was held this past week at the New York Marriott Marquis. The AT&T Developer Program team and the speech team at AT&T Labs were there in full force.

One of the best ways to learn about cutting edge technologies and win new devices is to join our webcasts. We’re really excited about the upcoming Augmented Reality and You webcast as well as our Speech 101 webcast coming toward the end of June. These webcasts are hosted by industry professionals and provide in-depth information you likely won’t find anywhere else. As always, these events are completely free to AT&T Developer Program members; all you need to do is register.

Whether you’ve been to a hackathon or not, you’ll love our new Hackathon Survival Guide featuring Developer Man and the rest of the API Daily crew. It’s jammed packed with adventure and useful information about our hackathons.

Over the past weekend we teamed up with TechCrunch for a hackathon at their Disrupt conference in NYC. This was another 24 hour coding competition with lots of API sponsors offering their own prizes to the groups that made the best use of their services. If you’ve never been to, or heard of the Disrupt conference, you might want to check it out next year – it’s a highly participatory, single track program that attracts a diverse group of attendees, including top CXOs, industry influencers, VCs, startup innovators, corporate professionals and media mavens.

We’re incredibly excited to announce that we have nearly a dozen events and contests scheduled for the next two months! Everything from epic hackathons with over $20K in prizes to webcasts where we’ll walk you through using our new Speech API. We’ll also be attending several conferences including CTIA and Uplinq.
