Interested in learning to code? There is no better way then to just jump right in and trying a Google Code Jam Challenge for yourself. There are excellent online resources like http://www.udacity.com/ and http://www.udemy.com/ that can help get you started. For those of you with kids, it might just be easier to have them teach you. Just kidding. Well, not really, but you get the idea. Alternatively, see if you can find a progamming buddy via meetup.com as you can learn faster by watching.
