Local leaders in mobility attended the Mobile Monday Seattle meet-up this week to discuss hot topics ranging from APIs, HTML 5, and roadmaps and mobile strategies for companies like: AT&T, Microsoft, Red Foundry, Apptentive and ProgrammableWeb.
Last week at IBM Impact we demonstrated our AT&T adapters for IBM® Worklight® for the AT&T API Platform and how you can easily extend your app’s functionality. We built a simple enterprise contact management app that used the Speech API and messaging APIs to search for and distribute contacts via SMS and MMS messaging options.

What a fantastic week at IBM Impact! We had a great time organizing the Worklight focused hackathon and speaking about our APIs. Here's a recap in pictures..
This last weekend was a big first of many to come. Our hackathons have come a long way since the early days of 2011 and we thank our developers for sticking with us all the way. The AT&T Developer Program worked with AT&T Sustainability and the Environmental Defense Fund this last weekend at TechCrunch Disrupt to challenge developers to build an app that gives buildings a water conservation effenciency score, similar to that of Klout.
