Sierra Airprime MC8705 Network Settings

Working with a Sierra Airprime MC8705 in a deployment.

I have looked at two options for data testing connectivity.

ATT GO Phone SIM card with Data Added and a ATT DataConnect SIM card.

I need to know what the network settings are for the networks. I am sure that they will be the same between the two but just asking. This is what I have so far.

APN = isp.cingular

Phone = *99#

Dial Command = ATDT

User = ISP@CINGULARGPRS.COM

Pass = CINGULAR1

Data Channel = 3

Info Channel = 3

Modem Init =  +cgdcont=1,”IP”,”isp.cingular"

Update.

The info I was using was for a Go Phone SIM that never would work.

I have since tried it with a DataConnect account with Generic SIM and it works if I leave off everything and just up isp.cingular in.

Ok after some more research here is what I have found.

If I use the GO Phone SIM with data it will work with the APN wap.cingular.

If I use the DataConnect SIM it will work with the isp.cingular.

If I use a PostPaid ATT account with data it will work with wap.cingular.

I got someone with the Laptop Data Setup in ATT which they told me on the dataconnection has two APN that they use, isp.cingular and broadband. I do confirm that both of them work.

The only thing I am putting in is the APN and leaving everything else blank.

Can anyone provide any info on the APN that are in use with the different products and what products you guys are using?
