I am creating an application that relays SMS messages through the AT&T email gateway in both directions.
That is, I send a short sms message to subscriber@txt.att.net and get the reply (if there is one) at the same server that relays the initial message through the at&t gateway. I need to do it this way, because the application is international and handles many different sms/email gateways and so I can't use a proprietary format (i.e. an API).
I have tested this method for some months now and it has worked well. But just a few days ago, I started getting "InvalidPDUContent" messages when replying on the phone. I get these messages irrespective of the size of the reply that I'm sending -- sometimes it is a single word reply. And sometimes the same message that got through a few minutes previously results in the InvalidPDUContent response a few minutes later.
I've also tried using the mms.att.net gateway, but still get the same problem.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem?
Thanks.

Hi bhwatts,
Thanks for your post!
Can you confirm that you are still getting this error, there was a problem in production, and I'm told this has been fixed.
thanks!

All tests today have been successful.
So it looks like your information is correct.
Shall I post to this thread if the problem resurfaces?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Brian
