SMS-Reciving SMS thru my Option Wilres GTs Express Card

Hi

Is there a way where i can collect sms that AT&T messanger recived from my clients. I tried to find a location where it stores it. But i have failed to find it on my computer.

Also, is it posible for me to use SIM Card i am using on Android or Iphone on a OPTION Wirless GT Ulta Express so at specific times when i am in a business meeting i can see them on my computer.

Are you using ACM?

If you are, then you can read text messages by going to Tools -> Text Messaging. 

If your SIM is provisioned for SMS, then you'll be able to receive and send text messages via ACM.

Yes, i am using ACM (AT&T Communication Manager).

I found that information. but i have a program i writen that i need to find a location where ACM(AT&T Communication Manager) stores the messages, so the program could open it up and procss the information in it.

My curretn SIM has unlimited Data plan, Unlimited SMS. But when i inser the SIM in to the modem, It tells me it can not find a signal.

SIM is on my Android Motorola Back Flip.

SMS messages are stored on the SIM.  They can be retrieved using AT commands.  You should refer to the 3GPP specifications (www.3gpp.org).  Some websites that provide examples include

http://www.developershome.com/sms/readSmsByAtCommands.asp

These websites are not endorsed by AT&T.  I just passed them on as examples.

Regarding the SIM not being able to find a signal, you need to be on a specific data connect plan separate from the Unlimited Data Plan.  If all the you want to do is to retrieve messages from the SIM and send them, then you do not require a Data Connect Plan.  AT commands can be executed with a data connect plan as a pre-requisite.  

You can test the AT commands using HyperTerminal.

Yes, you are write about the SIM Card, i acctualy realized that last night while experimenting with it, and notice that once sim is out of modem. Messages dissapear.
