Hi,
I was just wondering what voice codec AT&T uses the majority of the time programmed in their nodeB 3G cell sites. Is it AMR12.2,7.95 or 5.9? I'm trying to estimate relative erlang capacity AT&T has deployed with the number of carriers on their cell sites. This is for a research project.
People have told me using the debug screen in their iPhone's in NYC and Los Angeles some high-density areas they are already noticing 4th carriers (20+20MHz). This I assume goes well along with the deployment of HSPA+. Is the HSPA+ on upgraded sites in the RAN 14.4 or 21.6Mbps on the downlink and 2 or 5.76Mbps on the uplink?
